I have worked at RJBA for two years, primarily with English Language Learners (ELL).  I work with ELL students in small groups or on one-on-one.   I am also a translator, substitute and WIDA administrator at RJBA.  I am currently working here on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.  I truly believe that knowledge is power and it helps when you know two or more languages.

I have experiencing working with students, pre-school through high school as an ELL Aide and Paraprofessional.  I have experience working with ELL students from all over the world: Mexico, Germany, Puerto Rico, Japan, Ecuador and Vietnam.  I love learning about different cultures and meeting people from all over the world.

I am currently completing my third semester of student teaching at Academia de Lengua y Cultura.  I will be graduating in May with an endorsement in TESOL and Bilingual.  The best is yet to come!

Just for fun…I LOVE to dance!!!!  I am a ballet folklorico dancer at Baila! Baila!  I am a Salsa substitute and FIT KIDS instructor at Defined Fitness.  Dancing is art in motion.
